Programm - NESAT XII in Hallstatt
Die 12. NESAT-Konferenz wird vom Naturhistorischen Museum Wien von 21.-24. Mai 2014 in Hallstatt, Österreich,
abgehalten.
Wie bei den vorangegangenen NESAT-Konferenzen in Kopenhagen, Dänemark, und Esslingen, Deutschland, sollen auch hier
die prähistorischen und historischen Textilfunde selbst im Vordergrund stehen, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk auf
Kontextanalysen und neue naturwissenschaftliche Methoden gelegt werden soll. Beiträge zu derzeit laufenden
Forschungsprojekten, auch „work in progress“, sind ausdrücklich erwünscht. Es sollen auch weniger bekannte
oder auch kürzlich ergrabene Textilfunde, Textiltechniken sowie eventuell Ikonografie behandelt werden, soweit dies
die Diskussion und den fachlichen Austausch unter den Konferenzteilnehmern fördert.
Zusätzlich wird es eine Postersession geben, wobei die Poster jegliche Themen rund um archäologische
Textilfunde enthalten können.
Vortragssprachen der NESAT XII-Konferenz sind Deutsch und Englisch.
